Wilberforce United FC’s Under 6 Bears teams had been recognised for his or her outstanding sporting spirit this season at last week’s FNSW awards presentation.
FNSW was touched by the compassion and great sportsmanship shown by this team towards their opposition in the MiniRoos space.
Wilberforce United FC Win Fair Play Award Under 6 Bears, from the Nepean Football Association, confirmed great support for his or her Under 6 Emu’s group, who are made up of principally Under 5’s and have had a very robust season being crushed frequently.

The Richmond coach was amazed how the Wilberforce staff at one stage all fell over “like ten pins” to permit the Richmond group an opportunity to score a goal.
He mentioned all the players and parents from Wilberforce have been so positive and encouraging to their gamers to keep going that it was a pleasure to play the sport in such nice spirit.
