Hornsby Shire Council has begun supply of the primary edition of a brand new council journal, free publication to all residents of the Local Government Area (LGA).
Titled ‘Our Council’, the publication is to be delivered quarterly to mailboxes all through Hornsby Shire and consists of updates on major initiatives, data on services, native history and sustainability along with contact information for the Shire’s Mayor and every of its nine councillors.
New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’ says the publication ensures that all residents of the Shire feel informed and updated on Council initiatives.
“To common customers of the online and digital devices, receiving a printed publication within the mail might look like a hark again to the past.
But as a various and inclusive group, it’s essential that Council information and information reaches all residents, not simply those who frequently use social media,” said Mayor Ruddock.

The first edition of the publication contains updates on tasks at Hornsby Park and Westleigh Park, latest waste and recycling information, Council’s efforts in mitigating significant road damage over the earlier years, and maps current upgrades and new builds delivered for the group.
